I thought this was too cute not to share, it goes hand in hand with Rich's bike riding blog. Alicyn was so super proud of herself for learning to ride the bike in one day. It was like that was just her day. The peer pressure of Jada learning might have given her the extra push she needed but whatever it was we are going with it. So we are in the car, coming home from somewhere, and she says in the most sincere tone a girl could speak, with tears welling up in her eyes...
"I set my mind to it mama and I did it". I told her that she could do anything that she set her mind to and that we were so proud. I swear it almost made me cry, she is so humble.
I took these pictures right after her first big ride, in the first one, she was on the phone calling Jada to tell her the big news. Man, I love this kid.
