7 is Heaven!

The day is finally here, Alicyn has been counting down the days since Christmas of when she will be 7 years old. Everyday, she marked her calendar with a big check mark, and told us all several hundred times that she would be 7 in X days. For her birthday, Rich set her up her own email account (alicynmcgovern@yahoo.com), just before going to bed last night we got this email from her...

She was so proud to have an email address! This morning she got to decide where we had breakfast. Breakfast is a Sunday morning tradition for us with my parents. Rich normally can't join since he works Sunday's but with his new work schedule, its worked out great the last few weeks, we can all be there! (the only good thing about the new schedule :)). Java Cafe in Round Rock is the normal place, but not today! Alicyn wanted the "Olive Tree", we giggled when we figured out that meant the "Omelettry". LOL. Silly girl. She had chocolate chip pancakes! Her party is later today so more pictured to come....

As I type this, Alicyn, JT and Rich are making their first batch of popcorn in the new popcorn maker that Alicyn got her birthday. The house is filled with the yummy popcorn smell! "Hey mama, doesn't that sound like fireworks!"
