Alicyn is on a trip, she left on Friday the 4th, and will likely be home on Tuesday. My mom, grandma, and Uncle Ken took the challenge of taking Alicyn, Lindsey & Sara all to Disney World. You could not have paid me enough to be in that car for that long. Its not the company as much as its the long car ride. Remember I am not a traveler and I do not discriminate. If its more than 4 hours, I am out.
Anyway, while on this trip, Alicyn has been taught how to text message. Yes, text message. Its hilarious, her spelling is not great so it sometimes takes a minute to figure out what she is saying. Like today said "hi mom r you egsidid?" For those that don't speak kindergarten phonetically correct writing, that says Hi mom, are you excited? She is glad to be coming home and, boy I am too! I miss her sassy self. I am sure that she will be asking for a cell phone soon, which we will deny. I am sure it will come along with a fit when we say no, but I am not, I repeat not getting a 6 year old a cell phone.
