Tomorrow is the big day. I mean BIG! JT will go in panties to school, no diapers allowed! I know, he is a boy and they aren't called panties for boys but he thinks they are cause he has a big sister that calls them that. So panties it is.
Jaxon started his new class last week, its called transition. Kinda makes me sad that my baby is already in the big boy class. All the kids in his room except for 2 are fully potty trained. His teachers, Ms. Tiffanie & Ms. Jenny, said they were up for the challenge and convinced us to take the plunge. Jaxon is very interested in the potty and goes almost every time you ask him to. He is not scared to go #2 there either, you just have to catch him at exactly the right time. Too early means he sits for a few good pushes and then is bored, to late...well you know. In this classroom, there is some good healthy peer pressure which is working out well so far. Hoping that our decision to scrap pull ups is a wise one. They a evil, don't do it, trust me. They are all cute with cool characters on them, and they are still a diaper, so they absorb too well, even though they claim they can feel a "cool sensation", its a marketing ploy. They are fancy expensive diapers. So they are out of the McGovern house. So this weekend, we stocked up on 30 something pairs of panties. All different kinds, wonder pets, cars, basketballs, boxer briefs, tighty whiteys, you name it we have it. I have a bag packed with 8 pair for tomorrow, Rich says that's not enough since we go through 8 in a hour when we have tried this at home. I may end up throwing a few more in. Don't want to have to go back to diapers on day one cause we run out of panties. So say a prayer for Tiffanie and Jenny tomorrow, I know they are going to need a little extra patience with my little man.
