Potty time!!

Jaxon is rockin' the potty training. Rockin'. Who said potty training boys was hard. This kid is easy. Don't get me wrong, we are not 100% there but I was expecting him to be 4 years with all the horror stories I had heard. "TeeTee" is super easy, he has that down pat. Poop is a little tough, but he is going in the potty about 1/2 the time. Not bad at all for the first full week in panties. BTW, Rich is officially irritated with the panties comments so we are working on underwear. It sounds like "under-weeeeeyear" when Jaxon says it. So funny. He is really liking having underwear on, and fights us a bit at night which is the only time he is in a diaper. Since he is sleeping in our bed, yes still, we are being selfish and putting him in a diaper. If it was his own bed we might try it without, but since its our bed we aren't having all that. We learned the hard way about pull ups, fight the urge people, don't do it. They are expensive and they are not helpful when potty training. They are fancy diapers that absorb too well to teach your kiddo that they are wet. If you never listen to anything else I say, listen to this one. Pull ups are from the devil. Going potty gets huge praises around here, we bribe with candy, toys, or whatever else we can think of. Jaxon claps for us when we go potty, just like we all do for him. I think having a big sister has helped tremendously, he wants to be just like her!

Remember I took 10 changes of clothes to school last Tuesday, well I am happy to report, we are still using that SAME bag of clothes!! He is doing so good. I can't even tell you how proud we are of this kid, even when he wears his undies on his head.
