Chalk Walk

Round Rock put on the 2nd annual Chalk Walk yesterday in downtown RR. It was a great day for it, cloudy and not too hot. Chalk Walk is where artists compete for the best artwork by drawing with chalk on the streets. Everyone has there own standard size spot that they can work within. It was amazing the amount of detail in every picture. I heard the Art School owner talking about how they had pitched it to many cities across the country. Its super cool. I couldn't get the photo above to turn but wanted you to see Alicyn & Jaxon's artwork. There was also a competition for kids, some of their work was as good as the adults! They had bands playing and vendors. We heard the Biscuit Brothers, and a young Christian Band named Price Hill. We will definitely go again next year!

Watching the Biscuit Brothers!

Jaxon didn't get to into this part, but told me to do his name and Texas Stars.

Alicyn's spot, of course....dance

The detail in this one was unbelievable.

Michael Jackson! Awesome.

Crazy good! And by a 12 year old!

Love this one too, not sure how they chose the winner.

Spiderman, well sort of. It was POURING RAIN at this point so they were rushing. Jaxon didn't know the difference!
