Our Sweet Berry Farms Adventure

Every year for the last many we have spent Columbus Day at Sweet Berry Farms. Its always a holiday for school and staff development day for daycare so it works out nicely to make the trip on that day since one of would have to take off anyway. The other good thing is that its much less crowded during the week than on weekends. (I think people are starting to figure it out though, its been pretty full the last 2 years). Sweet Berry Farms is a real working farm, they have pumpkins in the fall and berries in the spring. You can actually pick them off the vine in the spring, but during pumpkin season they just have piles o pumpkins to choose from. They have cool stuff for the kids to do like a corn maze, pumpkin painting, horses and a beautiful place to pick flowers. The kids both insisted on wearing their boots this year which I think made it even more farm-ish. Especially with the shorts. LOL. The weather was PERFECT this year, not hot but not cold. It had rained quite a bit the few days before, so we were worried it would be muddy but it was perfect.

Someone doesn't listen well, guess which one...

Holly Jolly silly rabbits!

One of my favorite pictures this year!!!

A sweet lady gave JT a carrot to feed the horse. And we got to meet a 1 day old BABY donkey!

Not my favorite picture of me but it was so good of Alicyn that I thought it had to be done :) (P.S. not sure I will ever like a picture of myself)
