Texas Stars Hockey

Tonight we went over to the new Cedar Park arena and watched a few periods of the new Texas Stars play. We went in on a 1/2 season this year with a friend, and got lucky enough to get all 4 tickets to the preseason game tonight. The kiddos absolutely loved it. Alicyn was dancing and clapping and was even on the jumbo tron!!! Jaxon is trying to say hockey, it comes out more like "hock" but we know what he means. He was dancing and clapping and pointing. This is the first of many games out there this season. Our seats are great, we are on the corner on the end that the Stars shoot on twice, 3rd row. There were lots of big hits right in front of us. We also ran into an good ole Mary, along with her husband and baby Reagan. Its nice to have professional hockey back in the Austin area, takes me back to the Austin Ice Bats days. Rich and I met at an Ice Bats game....and the rest is history :)
