Rich had the idea to the kids to the train in Wilco Park today, of course as soon as it was mentioned, they were both jumping and ready to go! This is the same train that we took Alicyn with many years ago with Tristan & Devon. Its nestled deep into the park, its cheap and a perfect spot for some afternoon entertainment. Jaxon loved it, he pointed, nodded his head with the engine sound, and was totally in his element. Alicyn enjoyed it too but since it was Jaxon's first time on the train, he enjoyed it more. Alicyn took him under her wing and pointed out lots of stuff on the 1.3 mile track. The tunnel was her favorite part, there is a fake spider inside that she got a kick out of. We rode twice, and then we headed (or attempted to head) out. Jaxon didn't want to leave, big surprise. He threw a but of a fit, but seemed to get over it when we said the train had to go eat lunch. The conductor actually walked away for a quick break, had she not walked by the fit would have been worse. After the train we ate at McDonald's, and then came home for a nap :).
