The 1st & 2nd graders at TVE got to perform tonight at the PTA meeting. Guess what that means...yep, its a great way to sucker parents into coming to the PTA meeting! Grandma & Pop made it there to watch it too! Jaxon tooted many times during the boring meeting portion, at one point before Rich realized it was JT, he was appalled that a dad would do such a thing at a meeting. If you know Rich, that doesn't seem right coming from him. lol. Anyway, after the meeting it was Go time for Alicyn. She was so cute, she picked an outfit that she thought would look great while she was on stage. The songs were silly, but the kids had a blast singing. Once it was over, we bolted out the door to make it to Hip Hop. (I bet the PTA loved it when all the parents flocked out of there right after). I feel bad for the 2nd graders, they were still waiting for their 5 minutes of fame.....
It was a little wild and crazy waiting for the meeting to begin with all those kids.
She practiced and practiced these songs, now if I could only get her to practice her spelling words with that much energy!
