Today was Jaxon's school party for Halloween, aka Haddoween. He was super excited to be able to take the cupcakes that we bought for the occasion. JT didn't quite understand that these cupcakes were for THE party but not HIS party. The only way we could get it to sink in was to continue brain washing him with Halloween Party. This kid is so clever, as we are driving home from HEB he starts singing "happy birfday dear Haddoween". Those poor mini cupcakes must have looked like they had better days when they finally arrived at school this morning. He dropped them and flipped them upside down too many times to count.
I was running late this morning and had a meeting I could not miss, so my mom offered to take Jaxon into school. All was fine until she tired to leave him there, he thought it was grandma day. They spent the morning shopping for the items I was supposed to bring (bad mom); then went to GG's and BAKED brownies (that I was also supposed to bring); ate breakfast while they baked and hung out. Jaxon got to school around 1030 and was not happy that his fun filled morning of leisure with Grandma and GG was coming to an end. His teacher had to pry him out of grandma's arms; him screaming. Grandma is not a fan of leaving a crying kid, and I am not either. I called the school and within minutes he was fine. Why do they do that to us? Talk about pulling at your heart strings.
The party started at 430pm, we arrived, the kids were all in costume on the playground. JT refused to wear his mask; it was super duper windy, plates; napkins blowing everywhere and Jaxon was being a TOOT! He finished his snack and thought he could them do whatever he wanted. He went to the bikes (after being told no at least 10 times); refused to put it back; refused to go potty; refused to take off his costume; refused to get dressed after the costume was removed for him; and got carried out of the party like a sack of potatoes, if potatoes can be kicking and screaming that is. He didn't appreciate being buckled into his carseat, and kicked his TV so that was removed. When you ask him about it now, he just shrugs his shoulders and says "Daddy took TB way" all nonchalant like its nothing. I swear, nothing phases him. Then at dance while waiting for Alicyn, he stood right in front of us and peed on the floor. I don't get it, this boy has not had one accident in WEEKS, no idea what is going on but praying its just that he is tired. Bath was another fit cause he was bound and determined to play hockey. Rich finally got him to sleep while watching hockey, this has become a bit of an obsession. I use a bit very loosely, he is way addicted. So the house is quiet finally and boy wonder is passed out. Whew, this boy is wearing me out! But dang I love him!
That picture is the BEST!
