Ring my Bell - Izzy Belle

Many of our friends have dogs trained to ring a bell by the door when the need to go outside, so we figured what the heck and bought a training bell at Walmart. We have it hung right next to the back door, every time we take her out to go potty we ring the bell. The thought is that she will associate that sound with going potty and start ringing it on her own. And believe it or not it worked starting on DAY 2!!!!! She rings the bell, we take her out. Awesomeness. Only thing is that she also rings the bell when she just wants to go play outside, which is still ok but annoying right now since we come in from being outside and she rings the bell again. We are going outside every time she rings it right now since we are still potty training but Alicyn gets really irritated when she keeps doing it over and over. She is doing well, and growing but not much. She gained 8 oz since her last vet visit, I thought she looked skinny but the vet says no way, she is perfect. She is doing pretty well in the create, cries a little at first but she gets over it. We love our Izzy Girl!
