Our family and car club have a tradition that has been going for at least the last 6 years where we deliver for Blue Santa. Several of the car club members work for the Austin Police Department, this is an event they sponsor. Operation Blue Santa provides toy and food for families that cant afford them. We as a club all caravan with our Blue Santa boxes to each house. We probably are a bit overwhelming for the recipients since we tend to all get out and go to the door. The cars are a big hit, and folks that are outside and see us coming wonder what in the world we are doing. This year we had 4 Falcons but a total of 9 cars delivering. One of the ladies I work with at Dell brought her family, Trish brought her brother and sister in law and we had some new club members show this year too. Its a really rewarding experience, if you are looking for a way to give back to the community, I highly recommend this. The families we delivered to this year were grateful (they always are). They all had trees but no gifts, so it was great to see the excitement on the children's faces as we brought in the box of goods. Our club also makes stockings for the kids that are not getting a box, and we also took stuffed animals from Alicyn & Jaxon's rooms. Its really great.

More of the Falcons

The Falcons at the meeting spot before heading to get our boxes. My dad always brings Ken's tacos for the group! Yum!

Waiting in line for our boxes. We get to enter in the VIP line since we have Falcon Club members on the Austin Police force.

Getting a box out and heading to someones door.

Rich wearing Jaxon's hat since he will not allow Rich to wear his own hat.

Jaxon was determined to ride int he Falcon instead of the warm car with movies!
