We had to head to the beach again this year. At least I did and you know the kids always have fun, but this year we had a special guest!!! Jayden joined us and it was complete. I think next year her family is coming down with us (we are going to hold it to them) so I think she had fun. As you can tell, she likes to ham it up a bit.
Pop and Grandma came along two days later to add to the party. It was a great help to have them to help with the kids as you can tell from Pop's photo below:)
I'm just giving him a hard time, really. He did manage to make it to the beach one day and the pool the next. Ha Ha. Maybe next time they can just stay with us and avoid having to drive down the beach to thier hotel. Hint hint.
All of us really had a great time once again. Jaxon is really exploring his "boy-ness". He has a skateboard thing going on right now and as you can see he is working on his toe flip!! We also took the kids bikes so we could ride up and down the sea wall. I mean, how many times do you get to do that as a kid living in the city? Good memories...
When we were making the menu for going to the beach I tried to think of a way for the kids to get out of the sun for a bit and it worked. Wacky wild lasagna making was the tool. I think the kids enjoyed making it and a few hours later, BooooYaaa...it was done. WOW was the words of "we made that". It turned out good and it was fun too. Check one for Dad!! More lotion and back to the pool...please...
