Last night we went to the 2nd annual Burden Christmas party. What a great time with a great group of friends. The adults did white elephant gift exchange, and wouldn't you know it, I ended up with the crappiest gift. Literally. It was pretty funny, I have to admit that. It was a plunger for the toilet, roll of toilet paper and one of those things you hang on the edge that makes the water blue. Lots of jokes were made about the various other uses for this plunger do to the look of it. I took it all in stride, and laughed really hard. Only James Burden, that's all I will say, since he brought this funny gift. Melissa will now be passionately referred to as the "TC" or tooth charmer. Friday night, she pulled one of Jayden's teeth, and last night she pulled Alicyn's 2nd tooth. The 3rd tooth is not far behind and is wiggling like crazy. I am certain that it will be gone on Tuesday after dance since "TC" will be there. We decided to leave JT with grandma for this event since Steph's house is on the market and Jaxon tends to be on the wild side. They have stairs, and we decided, chasing him would make the party more like a chore.
Eggnog, tons of food, great friends, and a surprise visit from Santa made for a fabulous evening. Lets just hope Steph can get the SD card from her camera to allow us to see the pictures with Santa. I can't wait, the kids we so excited!
