the mcgovern's: Have a holly jolly Christmas!

We had a great Christmas! We kicked off the day with Santa of course, the kids were up about 745, not too bad considering Alicyn was so excited she couldn't sleep. I figured she would be up with the chickens. Santa was super good to the kids, they have been good all year! My parents and GG joined us for a yummy breakfast of eggs, bacon and waffles. We had a relaxing morning, I even got a nap with Jaxon. While we were napping Rich and Ali talked to his mom and brother on the new webcam Rich got her for Christmas. What an awesome idea this was, since she is in Denver, and we have yet to attempt to travel that far with JT, its going to be great to get to "see" her! Jimmy even pointed the webcam outside so Rich could see all the snow in Denver. We headed to my parents around 230 for the Robinson Christmas. Its an "on year" for Christmas, so we have the whole Robinson crew, I think we hit 30 this year. The family voted and decided against turkey and the fixin's this year and had a taco bar. It worked out really well, and was nice to have something different. The vote also eliminated the white elephant gift exchange this year so only the 5 little ones got presents, but that was a TON in itself. Jaxon & cousin Ambree loved the tractor with animals that Lindsey, Sara, Mike & Debra got them, so much in fact that they didn't have any desire to open anything else. Alicyn loved her scarf & sweater that from Ambree, Katy & Sean and bath stuff from Becca.

I just love that all my immediate family is so close, we have a great time together. We have so much to be thankful for. Merry Christmas!
