This weekend, Alicyn was in her first recital since starting with Lonestar Dance. She looked like a 16 year old with straight hair and RED lipstick! She did such a good job in her dance, Jingle Bell Rap :). Hip hop is her favorite, and I was a little concerned that she didn't know her routine, but she (and everyone) did a great job. This recital was so much better than her first with the other dance company. The location is better and the dance quality is 1000 times better.
Picture this....the lights go down, everyone is quiet with anticipation of the next dance...and then out of the darkness comes "UH OH". Yep, Jaxon was concerned with the lights....so funny. People laughed from all around.
We had lots of family and freinds come watch the performance. Alicyn did have a surprise guest, Ms. Farque and her husband came! They met us in the hallway after the performance, and brought her a bouqet of flowers. How sweet can she be!! She sent me a text as she arrived saying how excited she was to see her perform, almost like it was her own child.
We are super proud of Alicyn, she is just toooooo cute!
