Ever since I got back from the Boston/Portland Leadership Team Meeting trip, Jaxon has asked me no less than 5 times a day if I am going to Boston. Or London. I think he is warped from my travels. I know some of you are thinking that, give me a break she has traveled twice since May, but apparently that is too much for my little guy. He has had a terrible time at drop off at school, which is very abnormal. Every time I walk out the door he asks if we are going to Boston. Today, Rich had gone to work, and he wanted to know if Rich was in Boston. So sad. We have explained that we are not going anywhere but he's not convinced.
So there, its not just me.
The trip was a success, we got lots of work done in the week I was gone. Maine is beautiful, we had to take a 30-45 ride on the ferry every morning to get to Tonya's house on the Island. Great Diamond Island used to be Fort McKinley so there is tons of history on the island. All the houses look just like they did when the fort was occupied by 800 soldiers. I tried many different kinds of fish, something that if you know me well you know was really stepping outside the box. I had Flounder, Swordfish, Crab, Lobster, scallops and mussels. Yum! I have to say that the fish in Maine is NOTHING like the fish here in ATX. I will post some pics from the island when I figure out how to get them off my phone.
