Off to the Patch

After the conference, we decided to tough out the dreary weather and head down the road to Marble Falls, land of the best little pumpkin patch...Sweet Berry Farms. To our surprise, the parking lot was FULL! The rain and drizzle stopped just in time for us too. Jaxon oooh'd and aaahhh'd at all the pumpkins. Alicyn rode a horse named Dexter (which Jaxon called "DOGGG" over and over), and got her WHOLE face painted. We fed the goats (which Jaxon called "DOGGG" over and over), and even saw 2 goats escape. Their names were twiddle-dee and twiddle-dumb. The farmer had to chase them down and put them back into the gate. We did the hay ride, it was a bit muddier than we have ever seen it but was great. They have added lots of scarecrows along the path, Alicyn really got a kick out of the different situations they were all in. (Jaxon called the tractor a "TRUCK"). Rich and I had the best strawberry lemonade I have ever tasted! After several hours of fun, we picked out our pumpkins and headed home. Both kids crashed on the way home, pumpkin pickin' is hard work. Check out some of our pictures from today!

Man, that's one big pumpkin!
Come on brother, can't you sit still.
