On Friday when we picked up Alicyn she had some fabulous news!!! She is the star student for the week! Every week since school started, she has come home and told us about the star student and wished it was her. Well, this week it was!!! You can only imagine the giddiness that came along with this honor. She giggled and told the story about how Ms Farque asked anyone that had already been the star student to sit down, then all the boys to sit down, then all the girls that were not wearing pink...this left only 2 girls standing, then she said "the start students name begins with an A!!!!" Alicyn said "that's how I knew it was me!". We worked on the star student poster, and returned it to school today. She gets to be the line leader, carry the lunch pale and recess pale (whatever those are). Here's are a few pictures of her with the poster that will be displayed in her classroom all week. If you see Alicyn or talk to her, be sure to ask about it. She is GLOWING!Monday, October 26, 2009
