Tonight we prepared valentine cards for both kids classes. They both have parties tomorrow, so that meant 50 of those little cards. Alicyn's were easy, she wrote her name on each one, attached the lollipops on her own, and got them put them in her backpack without any assistance from us. Jaxon did cause her a bit of havoc while she worked though. Alicyn yelled "no sir" like 50 times, while JT cried and screamed "MINE" an equal number of times. We worked it out though.
Then there were his cards. Wow, as Rich posted on his facebook tonight, putting valentines cards together with help of a 18 month old is like juggling JELLO. He was not kidding. I tried getting him involved with his cards so he would leave Ali's alone. Man, he was a mess, every time Rich got a card put together, he tore it apart, or threw it on the floor, or yelled MINE, as Alicyn tried to help get them in the bag. I can only imagine what it will be like tomorrow when the teacher tries to pass them out.
We are determined to get some pictures tomorrow, so check back....tomorrow is a big day for us, anniversary, 18 month well check, Alicyn's valentine party, Jaxon valentine party...be prepared for some posting from Virginia Dr.
