Our taxes are done. Done with a capital D. I chicken'd out this year on doing it solo, and decided I needed a little help. I normally do the Turbo Tax thing but this year I did HNR Block best of both. Its still done online but a tax advisor reviews before it gets submitted. One of Rich's good buddy's Mom has worked for them for many years, I was able to pick her to do my review. How cool is that? So within a few days, my return will be submitted and Uncle Sam will be depositing some cold hard cash into our account. Too bad it all goes to the damn debt snowball. But hey, that's a few baby steps closer to being debt free so I am A-OK with it.
Anyway, I am relieved that this is finally done. I know you are saying its only Feb 4th, but I got my dad's blood for being EARLY for everything, including taxes. I am at least a week behind my norm for this. It was bugging me to pieces to know I had everything just sitting in the file folder in the office.
PS. And yes dad, I know, the government collected interest on my money all year long - but I like getting a check, not writing a check. Writing a check would just take all the fun out of it :)
