Rant - Pay attention PEOPLE!

So here I am minding my own business, working from home while the demo is taking place....when the phone rings and Bright Horizons' comes up on the caller id. Usually this means, Jaxon bit, fell down, bumped his head or some other minor injury. This time though, they were calling to tell me that his finger got shut in a door. I am getting the details, turns out that one of the MOM's of another kid int he class was so busy trying to drop her kid off that she allowed the door to shut (on the hinge side I might add) on MY child's finger. And the stupid woman never looked back or realized what she had done. Thankfully, MS. Amy grabbed the door before it close all the way, or we would have been in Dell Children's instead of playing in the mud pit backyard. This same thing happened a few years ago with Pam's son Tristin and he had to have surgery to put his finger back on with freaking pins!! This could have been us today. I think what makes me the maddest is that this dumb woman, has a child the same age as Jaxon and should know better. Is work really that important that you are so careless that you could have chopped my kids finger off. UGGGGH. I am glad I don't know which kids mom it was, I might have to drop kick her into next week. I took Jaxon to the Dr. (the one time that Getman is not there of course). Getman's wife had her baby this week so he is off. The Dr. we saw (who I don't love) said it will look much worse tomorrow but that it was not broken. It was still throbbing this evening when I touched it. He is using it but AUUUUUGGGGHHH it makes me so mad. Loser lady. I have a picture but its only on my phone so just picture his index finger twice the normal size, which the pad of his finger BRIGHT red. Its almost like a blood blister. It might be black tomorrow. Have I said that the dumb lady is a LOSER!!! Anytime a child gets hurt at school and has to see a Dr. for the injury, BH is required to submit a report, this means that the Childcare licensing folks will be calling me and don't think I am not going to express my concern about that huge metal doors. JT is fine now, he is moving it, but gingerly. BTW: this injury did not stop him from saying TACTER (tractor) at least 1000 times.
